AAHA is well known in the veterinary field for its high standards for member hospitals and pet health care. Less than 12 percent of all small animal veterinary facilities in the United States and Canada are hospital members of this prestigious association. As a means of maintaining high professional standards, the doctors at Benicia Cat Clinic maintain active memberships in the American Veterinary Medical Association and the California Veterinary Medical Association, as well as the Cornell Feline Health Center and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Dr. Rau and associates also regularly attend Continuing Education seminars that are feline specific.
